PUBLICATION ETHICS

The International Conference on Economics, Technology, Management, Accounting, Education, and Social Science (ICETEA) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice.

This statement is based on the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Duties of Authors

Authors submitting papers to ICETEA must ensure that their work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

Authors are expected to:

  • Present accurate and reliable data
  • Ensure originality and avoid plagiarism
  • Properly cite all sources
  • Avoid multiple or redundant submissions
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Ensure that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript

Duties of Editors / Conference Committee

The editorial team and conference committee are responsible for making publication decisions based on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the conference scope.

They must:

  • Evaluate submissions fairly and objectively
  • Maintain confidentiality of all submitted papers
  • Avoid conflicts of interest
  • Ensure a transparent and unbiased review process

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers play a key role in evaluating the quality of submitted papers.

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide objective and constructive feedback
  • Maintain confidentiality of submissions
  • Identify relevant work not cited by authors
  • Declare any conflicts of interest
  • Review papers within their expertise

Peer Review Process

All submitted papers undergo a peer-review process before acceptance. The review process is conducted to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the papers.

Plagiarism Policy

ICETEA strictly prohibits plagiarism. All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection tools. Papers with significant similarity will be rejected.

Conflicts of Interest

All participants in the publication process (authors, reviewers, and editors) must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the evaluation or publication of a paper.

Ethical Oversight

If ethical issues are identified, the conference committee will investigate thoroughly and take appropriate action, including rejection or withdrawal of the paper.
