RETRACTION POLICY

RETRACTION POLICY

The International Conference on Economics, Technology, Management, Accounting, Education, and Social Science (ICETEA) is committed to maintaining the integrity of the academic record.

This retraction policy follows the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Grounds for Retraction

A paper may be retracted for the following reasons:

  • Evidence of plagiarism or duplicate submission
  • Fabrication or falsification of data
  • Serious errors that invalidate the findings
  • Unethical research practices
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest

Retraction Process

The retraction process includes:

  1. Identification of potential issues by editors, reviewers, or readers
  2. Investigation conducted by the conference committee
  3. Communication with the authors for clarification
  4. Final decision made by the Editor-in-Chief or Conference Chair

Retraction Notice

If a paper is retracted:

  • A retraction notice will be published and linked to the original paper
  • The original paper will remain accessible but clearly marked as “Retracted”
  • The reason for retraction will be clearly stated

Corrections

If issues are minor, ICETEA may issue corrections instead of retraction.

ICETEA ensures that all actions related to retraction are conducted transparently, fairly, and in accordance with ethical publishing standards.

By implementing this policy, ICETEA protects the credibility of its proceedings and maintains high academic integrity.
