Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to SINERGY Proceedings undergo a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure high academic quality and scholarly integrity.

1. Initial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Team to assess its relevance to the conference scope, compliance with submission guidelines, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined at this stage.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. This process ensures objectivity, fairness, and unbiased evaluation.

3. Review Criteria

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Relevance to the conference theme
  • Methodological rigor
  • Clarity of presentation
  • Contribution to theory and/or practice

4. Review Outcomes

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editorial Team may decide:

  • Accepted without revision
  • Accepted with minor revisions
  • Accepted with major revisions
  • Rejected

Authors receiving revision requests are required to submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeline.

5. Final Decision

The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ evaluations and the overall quality of the revised manuscript.
