Retraction

SINERGY Proceedings is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. Retraction of published articles may occur when significant ethical violations, research misconduct, or serious errors are identified.

 

Grounds for Retraction

An article may be retracted under the following circumstances:

  • Proven plagiarism
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Duplicate or redundant publication
  • Serious methodological errors that invalidate findings
  • Ethical violations in research involving human or animal subjects
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest

Retraction decisions are made carefully to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic responsibility.

 

Retraction Process

  1. Investigation
    The Editorial Board will conduct a thorough and impartial investigation of the allegation. This may involve communication with the author(s), reviewers, and affiliated institutions.
  2. Editorial Decision
    Based on the findings, the Editor-in-Chief will determine whether correction, clarification, expression of concern, or full retraction is required.
  3. Retraction Notice
    If retraction is necessary:
    • The article will remain accessible to preserve the scholarly record.
    • A clear and visible “Retraction Notice” will be attached to the article.
    • The reason for retraction will be transparently stated.
